Honduras: Thanks for your prayers.

Here's and update from Tom in Honduras:

Thanks Team!  Keep it up! God blessed immensely today!

The day couldn't have started better - Mark Georgas shared a great devotional accompanied by a huge surprise blessing - Mark's wife Rhonda, who teaches 4th grade at Mt. Paran Christian School, had her students make cards of encouragement for our team - Mark found them in his luggage - when the team showed up to the meeting room, Mark had put cards at each of our seats.  What an awesome shot in the arm!  The cards were so well done, including prayers, Bible verses and words of encouragement.  Wow!  It brought tears to my eyes and strength to my heart!

This morning after a tour of Predisan's medical clinic, we broke up into three team and

1.  helped put the cement floor in at the church's mission church
2.  delivered wheel chairs to handicapped people (wow!)
3.  began a construction project at CEREPA - the drug and alcohol rehab center of Predisan, our partner

In the afternoon we continued both construction projects, and sent some of our team to do door to door evangelism. Tonight, we attended a worship service at CEREPA - I got to preach and we all were able to encourage the patients there - around 7 of the patients responded to an invitation to trust Christ at the end of my sermon.

Please pray that these men who indicated they trusted Christ, would be sincere, truly saved - and would grow to walk in Christ's strength.

Thank God for the completion of the floor inside the church mission. Thank God for the opportunity to tangibly meet needs in peoples' lives via the wheel chairs and to bless them with the love of Christ through our meetings with them. Thank God for strength, safety and health.
