Dominican Republic: Day 1

Airport check in, security, flight, and everything went well.  We had a slight delay as a passenger fainted prior to take off and was removed by paramedics, she was elderly and traveling alone, please pray for her.  Delayed our flight about an hour or so, but the pilot made some of that up.  There are several mission teams on our flight, which is typical. We landed in Santo Domingo, loaded up and had a beautiful drive up the coastline to Juan Diolio, where the Score villas are located. We unloaded, had a quick snack, got room assignments, did a quick change and took off for the beach for a half hour before dinner.

Dinner was rice, chicken, vegetables, and salad.  We started our study on Elijah tonight, from 1 Kings and studied through chapters 17 and 18.

Bob was so excited to see that we were able to bring 200 Spanish devotionals that they will use for a coaches clinic next month.

Coaches from all over the island will be coming.  We got to visit with FCA missionaries, Mike and Jodi.  It's a beautiful, cool, breezy evening here.

Everyone is fine, looking forward to a day of worship tomorrow!
