Tomorrow Afternoon the team will be meeting at church.  It is crazy how fast the trip has come upon us.  Personally, it has been a journey getting to this point.  I have been dreaming of going to Africa long term since I was a little girl. I would sit in church on Missions' Sunday listening to two full-time missionaries from Africa talk to us about what God was doing in and through their lives. After all this time, the Lord has presented me and the rest of the team with an unbelievable opportunity.  We will be working in the villages, schools, churches, and orphanages.  On Sunday, we may be preaching at the local church as our first encounter with the people.  We have Teeny Tykes, the creation story, and our personal stories prepared to share; along with school supplies and sports equipment to distribute. Though we know these general facts, the rest is up to how we are led. Flexibility and sensitivity to the Spirit's voice will be the breath of this trip. All to say, there is no question- God will do absolutely incredible things!

Please pray that we will stand strong against Satan and what he attempts to throw at us. Also for safe travels and that the goodbyes will not be too difficult.

From what the Lord has echoed to me recently, I urge you all to get into the word daily and take each day as a mission trip.  Though we easily forget why we are placed in certain places or what our purpose is, where you live is your mission field. Start sharing the Good News with those around you. Have your own mission trip, right here, right now!
