Zimbabwe: Glorious days!

Today is another glorious day in Zimbabwe. Yesterday and today has been chillier than expected, but still amazing. Yesterday morning, we went to a small church for VBS ready for a few children or many, structure or semi-organized chaos. As The Lord so often does, He exceeded our expectations. Our total count was about 65 women and children and everything went more smoothly than we could have planned. Songs, Creation to Christ story, and the stained glass window craft were a hit. A painting of a tree with all of their handprints as leaves and Isaiah 61:3 turned out magnificently and is now hanging in the church. The day was such a success that we went back this morning as well with Teeny Tykes and Tunes for the younger group and salvation bracelets for the older group. The joy was watching the worshipping of Jesus with such fun and wholehearted singing, along with the joy in the older crowd of receiving a certificate for reciting the meaning of a salvation bracelet. True beauty in simplicity. Besides this we have visited various villagers, hiked and climbed through the bush, enjoyed delicious food, and even had the luxury of a warm shower. God is truly acting beyond imagination or expectation.

Please continue to pray that the Lord's will is done, relationships continue to form, and that the upcoming time with the women goes well.
