Albania: Worship and Special Time with Albanian Friends

Sunday morning was a special time of worship at Corner Stone Church in Tirana.  We sang praise songs together; and Adrian Van Vactor, an illusionist with CRU who travels all over the world, was there to share his message through illusions with the congregation.  Then the sermon was about using our gifts as part of the church's overall theme of "Family in Mission Based on the Gospel".  After the service, we had a great time renewing friendships with Albanians we had met before and making new Albanian friends as well!

Lunch with some of those Albanian friends followed at Il Pomodoro, a fast food restaurant nearby.  Then we returned to the hotel to organize all of the supplies that we had brought with us and to plan for the events of the next few days.

With warm daytime temperatures and cool evenings, we are now adjusting to the change in time zones and looking forward to an amazing week here in Tirana!
