Albania: Coffee, Conversations, and Fun with Students

Sherry, Edvina, and Karen enjoyed having coffee and sharing the gospel with some Albanian students.

As of Wednesday afternoon, we have distributed about 800 magazines which means that we also have the contact information for about 800 students who will now be able to hear about the Student Life activities and the follow-up ministries of the New Life Albania staff.  Several of our American team members and a New Life staff member then had the opportunity to go out for coffee and share the gospel with Albanian students many of whom come from a Muslim background.

We gave the girls pink bracelets with symbols to remind them of the gospel message that God loves me; I have sinned; Jesus died for me; and I need to decide to live for Him.

Just before the students began to arrive for the 5:00 meeting at the New Life Center, it began to rain heavily; but we were so happy to see lots of students in spite of the bad weather.  During the evening, students played many games that were fun to be a part of and to observe.  This one with Rob and Bruce was "Phase 10".  Another fun game was called "Force" where a circle of students would try to FORCE one member of the group to touch a chair in the middle of the circle.  It generated a lot of laughter and is shown in the video below.
