Japan: Final Day in Kamaishi

We are sad that our time in Kamaishi is winding down. We have made many new friends and rejoice in the knowledge that many doors have been opened. Andrea, Kristi and Kim have been moved by the life stories of perseverance and heartbreak told by the women.  Andrea and Kristi initially visited Kamaishi six months after the tsunami. Three years later, the people of the kasetsu (temporary housing) have rebuilt a stronger sense of community while still being displaced from their homes. We continue to pray for those who have lost everything yet move forward.

Keishi, Michael and Brad have been excited to see the first men's events so well received.  We have met and shared a new method of fishing with fishermen. A local fisherman shared some tuna sashimi that he harvested earlier that morning. Truly a treat and great time of fellowship.

We want to thank all who continue to pray for our team. We truly feel covered in your prayers. Please continue to pray for the people of Japan that they would come to know Christ personally.
