Japan: Great Week in Kamishi

We have been blessed to serve God over the past six days. We worshiped the Lord in two languages at the Covenant Grace Church in Shibuya and shared our testimony to a homeless mission in Tokyo. The team then traveled by bullet train to Kamishi, Tsunami disaster area, to provide support to two missionary teams. We have visited multiple locations and have heard many heart wrenching stories from people who lost everything in the Tsunami. We are so thankful to be able to share God's love to those who have lost so much.  It is hard to imagine the pain and loss experienced by so many.

The women have been doing crafts with displaced elderly women while the men have been teaching local fishermen to make fly fishing lures. Sansei Michael has worked his magic with the men (with help from the team) to provide a new experience for the local fisherman.

It is great to see God opening so many new doors. We have been amazed to see how gracious the Japanese people have been to our team. Today a local fisherman shared some of his catch from this morning with the men. Thank you for your prayers for our team and the Japanese people.
