The Joy of Giving in Action: Adult Choir Outreach

On Tuesday night, December 16, the Johnson Ferry Choir headed to Smyrna for a meaningful outreach event at The Garden women’s and children shelter of 7 Bridges to Recovery. A shelter home in Atlanta for 105 women and children that have all been rescued from the streets.

The choir shared a portion of their Christmas Festival concert with the adult residents in the sanctuary, which included a great time of singing Christmas carols together.

Then everyone headed downstairs to the dining hall for a “Happy Birthday Jesus” party with adults and children.

All enjoyed a wonderful time of cake and fellowship, as the choir served the residents and then sat and talked and prayed with them.
