We have had another great day here in Kotzebue. We got to see the start of the Kobuk 440 sled dog race. That is an experience few ever get to enjoy. There are 17 teams of 12 dogs all of which were barking and jumping ready to go. That is a lot of noise and excitement. Ryan Morgan even recovered one over anxious dog that got loose. Even in bone-chilling cold it was a great time by all.
Thank you for praying for Ryan Hooks' meeting this afternoon. It went very well. It was a lot of fun to strategize new methods for reaching lost Eskimos with the good news of the wonderful grace of God. Please continue to pray for wisdom of next steps. Initial signs point to a great partnership working together.
Pray for us tomorrow morning (lunch your time) as we travel on to Ambler. It will be so great for all of us to return to the village that we love. Please pray for opportunities for us to connect with people while we are there. Most of all pray that God uses us for His glory.
Thank you for your prayers and following out trip. We will try to update again from Ambler but internet service can be very spotty from there.
