Ecuador: Adult Trip-Better Late Than Never!

Our plane took off a little behind schedule but we landed safely in Quito around 10:30 PM Friday night. After getting through customs, baggage claim and a 45 minute bus ride, we were able to settle into our hotel room around 1 AM.

We're praising God for an easy customs experience. They asked for little paperwork and let us through without asking many questions (This was a concern for our medical team). We're also very thankful that all of our luggage made it safely.

Today we spent the day in downtown Quito where we saw some beautiful cathedrals and breath-taking views of volcanoes and mountains.  We arrived at Camp Chacauco around 3:30 and had a little free time to explore.  Tonight we are able to enjoy a delicious meal provided by the camp and spend time getting to know each other.

Prayer Requests: Because of the high altitude we're all experiencing the effects of high-altitude sickness. Please pray that we will all feel better and be able to focus on serving The Lord.
