As we fly back from our mission trip and I look back on this very busy week, time seems to have accelerated.
We took a different direction north of this East African country. Our team met with approximately 30 students who will graduate this fall to become Pastors.
We then went to an HIV location where we distributed food to 20 women who were infected with this terrible virus. Afterwards we visited a a local hospital where we prayed with several of the patients.
The following day we conducted another medical clinic at a church where we treated approximately 400 people. We were able to witness to several people who accepted Christ. We showed the Jesus movie in the church simultaneously with the medical clinic.
That evening we went to the local market where we worked with a different church that was conducting a revival. There were somewhere around 1,000 people there. We showed the Jesus movie again to a fascinated audience. Several more people accepted Christ that night.
We have covered many road miles over rough terrain with some long days and nights but this mission trip has been very rewarding and I pray it brings glory and honor to our Lord and Savior.
