We made it!
We are so thankful to have everyone here safely in our home for the week: Alba Lulia, Romania. It is absolutely gorgeous here, and we couldn't be more excited to begin what we're sure will be a wonderful week of ministry through worship concerts, outreach projects, and evangelism.
Tomorrow kicks off a busy day as we will be presenting our first concert inside of the huge citadel in the middle of the city. We're really excited as this has been promoted and endorsed by the local government... they're so excited to have our choir from America. Tomorrow's concert has the potential to reach many, many people and we're so blessed to have a great location, time, and prior-promotion of the concert. This evening, a few of us went up to the fortress from our hotel to get a sneak peek at our spot for tomorrow. The area was full with tourists even past 9PM, so hopefully tomorrow being Saturday, there will be even more. We also saw the crew already setting up all the sound, lighting, video, and staging equipment.
We invite all of you back home to join with us in prayer for tomorrow... that through our efforts, God will be glorified, and we might be able to reach hundreds, if not more for the sake of the gospel. Pray that everything will go smoothly, that our folks will be well-rested after just one night's sleep, and especially that God will open the hearts and minds of the people who will be coming to our concert. We look forward to seeing how God might move tomorrow, and we can't wait to update you on what we're sure will be an amazing day.
ONE MORE THING! I mentioned earlier that everyONE made it, but not everyTHING made it safely to Alba Lulia. We had a number of people who didn't get their checked luggage, including our beloved orchestra director, Brian Hedrick and his family. PLEASE also pray that their luggage will come quickly, and that nothing will be missing!
