Revelation 5:9 "Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation."
Our team had the opportunity on Sunday to worship with our Arabic brothers and sisters in their church. How amazing it was to worship the Lord with those who don't speak the same language! Some songs were sang in English and some in Arabic, but we were ONE in worship.
Day one of clinic: Matthew 9:36 "Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd."
We administered medical care in tents that exceeded 110 degrees in temperature. As we held our clinics in these heat boxes, it dawned on us that these people live in these tents on a daily basis. It's a far cry from East Cobb and North Atlanta where most of us live with our comfortable air conditioning everywhere we go along with fresh running water and ICE for our water. Looking into the eyes of those who Jesus has compassion on and seeing their brokenness caused our hearts to ACHE. What a privilege it is to give them a word of love and encouragement, or to pray for them....or to give them ibuprofen for their aches and pains they are having from the hard life they live. We are truly blessed beyond measure!
"He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature, and He upholds the universe by the word of His power." ~Hebrews 1:3
