Nicaragua: Ministry in the Boonies

Today the team travelled about 3 hours to a rural barrio called San Ramon.  We were supposedly the first American ministry team to visit the barrio.  The church where we worshipped on the prior Sunday had located this barrio and had been doing outreach there.   It was definitely out in the boonies.  Our team did VBS with the 48 students at the public school.  We also shared a Bible story from Mark 2 with the small group of parents who had come to the school.   The school had no electricity or running water, and some of the students had no paper or pencils.  We brought bags of school supplies for the students and food bags for the adults.  It was quite an uplifting day.
