West Africa: a day with the children

Today was especialy meaningful because we spent it visiting the Christian school affiliated with the church we have been working with this week. We received a warm welcome from the principal who explained the continuous progress curriculum where all subjects are taught through Bible stories and principles. She allowed us to assemble the children in the sanctuary for a time of Teeny Tykes and Tunes: singing, moving, wiggling, instruments and crafts. It was such a blessing to see the smiles on their faces. Everyone was fully engaged!  Please pray for the children and their teachers to remain strong and focus on God's everlasting promises.

Everyone loves craft time!

Lauren is dressed in traditional clothing from the northern part of the country. There was an abundance of smiles and excitement to see Lauren representing the country through dress and dance! We were so honored to receive this gift.

Pictured is some of our fabulous Sunday School teachers. It was a joy to work with them. Their enthusiasm, hospitality, commitment to the children, and their love for the Lord inspired us! Notice the BEAUTIFUL tunics that our team is wearing. They were presented to us on the final day. We were overcome with their thoughtfulness and generosity.

Please pray for the Christians in this country. They face many challenges economicaly and with their government's leadership which is anti- Christian. We pray for strength and courage to stand firm in adverse times; for the Lord's protection and provision; and that their efforts will multiply and be fruitful. We will always remember our new brothers and sisters and their

love for the Lord. Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hands!
