East Africa: Worship at The Living Word Church

After driving an hour and a half through villages, the team arrived to Worship with Pastor Titus at The Living Word Church, which he planted in 2004 . His first two Sundays, he was the only person in attendance. He preached, sang, prayed, and took up the offering, all on his own. His calling was strong, to remain as a light for Christ, in the village he proclaimed as filled with every kind of evil. Slowly, people began to come, and today, there were 350 in attendance as he shared his spirit-filled pulpit with Pamela.

While the service continued for the adults, the rest of the team went outside with the 225 children and shared Teeny Tykes & Tunes for three hours. The children were "all in" for songs, Bible stories, dances, streamers, rhythm sticks, and a scratch-off cross craft, The gospel, in story, song, and hands-on interaction was the focus all afternoon!

The church prepared and shared an abundant and delicious lunch with everyone, after which the team solidified relationships with the children and spent another hour singing, dancing, and loving them all in the name of Jesus.

Glory to God for another glorious day of sharing Christ in East Africa!
